Peer review process

LAER operates a single-blind review process, i.e., authors' identity will be disclosed to the reviewer(s); however, the reviewers will remain anonymous. All contributions will be initially assessed by a co-editor or an associate editor for suitability for the journal. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to one or more independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The co-editor is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles. The Editorial decision is final.
