Special Issue, 50th Anniversary of the Division of Economics of CIDE
Latin American Economic Review (LAER) will publish a Special Issue in a wide variety of topics to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Division of Economics of CIDE. The aim of the special issue is to portray original contributions of distinguished alumni and former faculty of the Division. Isabel Melguizo (CIDE) and Ericka Rascón (CIDE) will be the guest editors for the special issue.
LAER is a general interest journal on topics relevant to Latin America. The special issue will target novel research on a wide range of issues by distinguished alumni and former faculty of the Division of Economics.
Articles will be considered for this issue only by invitation. There will be a selection of papers presented in an online workshop on February 28, 2025.
If you wish to present in our workshop, please submit your abstract here, no later than January 31, 2025.
To submit your manuscript to the LAER Special Issue, please do so through the journal website no later than January 31, 2025.
In order to submit your paper, go to "make a new submission". In this page, choose "Special Issue, 50th Anniversary of the Division of Economics of CIDE” in the dropdown menu "Section" (not "Regular article"). All submissions must adhere to the LAER submission guidelines.
